However, these signs in Sapnish and English would appear every couple of kilometers and reinforced our sense of heading in the right direction while providing tantalizing motivation to keep pressing up and up and up...
The joke was on us, however, as we never found anyone to pay an entrance fee or to get hot chocolate, coffee and snacks from!
