Parque Lleras

Arriving exhausted and sore from the ride and the hike of the day before, we found that our hostal had, through miscommunication on both ends, failed to hold our reservation. Not being able to find anything else in the immediate area, we made the decision to splurge on a nicer hotel, ending up at the Poblado Plaza Hotel, which has been great and quiet accomodating and de lujo!

Parque Lleras should not be missed on a Friday or Saturday night as the restaurants, clubs, live music and general atmosphere is unique in my experience. A mix between bohemian, upscale, traditional and ultra-modern. There is everything here, and the beuatiful people are out and about in numbers that put B.A to shame.

We ate a great Italian meal while listening to some live music before sitting in the park and just watching the people go by. Street vendors, cops, clubbers, punks, you name it and they were there, everyone having a great time!
