Salento the town...

The main plaza with a statue of Simon Bolivar and the local church.
When the sun finally came out, everyone was out early, working on their gardens and fixing up their yards, fences, and roofs.
Some precariously perched houses overlooking the valley of the Rio Quindio.

A view of town from the top of the hill. The path leading up was based on the stations of the cross, with markers for each stage, and at about 300 steps, it was tough, though probably not comparable.
